In this lunch-and-learn, our expert speakers Greg Brown, an administrator of Charlotte Angel Fund, and Peter Prakash, ISS Director at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, discussed how to find and hire a perfect technical co-founder/CTO. Led by Brian Formato, a founder and principal at Groove Management and LeaderSurf, this interactive talk reviewed the many roles of a startup CTO, explained what to look for if someone decides to hire a remote CTO and gave an idea about what’s needed to attract top tech talent to a startup.

IoT 101: Opening a New World of Possibilities Through Data

MARCH 26TH, 2019

This Tech Talk was focused on the real world applications of IoT and discussed projects and best practices related to IoT analytics and data management. Our panel guests who’ve harnessed the power of the IoT and big data analytics tools talked about how they make their organizations more efficient and effective.

Dan Thyer, CTO at Logical Advantage, Jordan Harris, CTO at ViscoSoft and Paul Giler presented how they are utilizing IoT to produce valuable data in order to gain a competitive advantage, improve business operations and yield a better return on investment. The presentations was followed by a discussion between the speakers and the audience where they talked about the implications of these technologies and how business owners can benefit from them.
